Home furnishings and gifts retailer engages Jagged Peak for major eCommerce initiative.

The EDGE platform will be utilized as Pier 1 Imports launches its eCommerce initiative in summer of 2012.

Jagged Peak's EDGE eCommerce platform's comprehensive Order Management System (OMS) supports multi-channel order management and fulfillment, providing true "Buy Anywhere, Fulfill Anywhere, Return Anywhere" capabilities. In the case of Pier 1 Imports, it is being deployed to enhance the customer experience by enabling consumers to buy online with the option to have their orders either shipped to them or available for in-store pick up. Additionally, EDGE's cross-channel, real-time inventory visibility will give Pier 1 Imports' customers the ability to return items purchased online to the nearest store.
