U.S. Navy Awards Blanket Purchase Agreement for Office Furniture to ATD-AMERICAN
The U.S. Navy has awarded ATD-AMERICAN CO. a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Office Furniture, effective June 1, 2011.

WYNCOTE, PA, June 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ATD-AMERICAN CO., a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) selling General Services Administration (GSA) approved office furniture and office chairs, has received a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the U.S. Navy in support of the Navy's Strategic Sourcing Initiative for Furniture.

This new Blanket Purchase Agreement is effective June 1, 2011. ATD's new Navy BPA # will be N00189-11-A-0017. ATD is the only contractor to receive a BPA for all of the following seven SIN#s for all three geographic areas, East, West and OCONUS:

In this difficult economic environment and faced with tightening budgets, The Department of the Navy (DoN) is engaged in reducing the costs of acquiring commonly-purchased office furniture through the application of a strategic sourcing solution that includes the issuing of Blanket Purchase Agreements for Navy furniture purchases.
