MIAMI, FL, October 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sandra L. Abay, Interior Designer for Upholstery Decorations & Designs, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in interior design.

A 20-year veteran of her field, Ms. Abay has acquired a reputation as a designer for high-end projects. She brought her talents to Upholstery Decorations & Designs in 2002. As the owner, she undertakes complete interior reconstructions of residential and commercial properties, and designs offices, residences and restaurants. Ms. Abay enjoys attending auctions and finding unique pieces for her customers.

In addition to her design work, Ms. Abay is known as an event planner and has experience coordinating weddings and private parties. She is also a commercial artist, with a particular focus on sculpture. Featured in numerous publications, she attributes the success that has found in multiple disciplines to her professionalism, persistence, and ability to deliver results.

Ms. Abay earned her Master's Degree in Design in Europe and her Bachelor's Degree in Design from Fashion Institute of Technology. A former Miss USA, she represented her country in 1975. She aspires to build a name for herself as a penthouse designer in the coming years.
