BLOOMINGTON, IL, August 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark C. Thoennes, Owner of Creative Kitchens & Baths, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in interior design.

Mr. Thoeness has 33 years of experience in design and sales. He brings his expertise to Creative Kitchens & Baths, a family-owned and -operated interior design firm. As the proprietor, he is responsible for overseeing operations, sales, public relations and marketing, handling design work and layout on new constructions, estimating projects, and remodeling kitchens, baths and cabinets in residential properties.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Thoeness is proud to have served his country in bases all over the world. He went into business for himself after concluding his military career, establishing Creative Kitchens & Baths as a bona fide family company with his father, mother and sister playing an integral part in its growth. Today, Mr. Thoeness runs the business with his only son Ryan, who trained under him all through high school and graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management. He attributes his success and longevity to hard work, honesty, and strong family values.

Mr. Thoeness received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology in 1975 from Illinois State University. He also completed coursework in Curriculum in Aviation at the University of Illinois in 1974. He is a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Mr. Thoeness looks forward to expanding his business further and venturing into business consulting.
